SLEEVE-GARD 80 is a high-temperature shrink sleeve that can withstand continuous operating temperatures up to 176°F (80°C) makes the SLEEVE-GARD 80 suitable for aboveground applications where the surface temperature of the pipe or jacket can exceed 140°F (60°C) in direct sunlight. It is better than low temperature sleeves for belowground applications where the sleeves can be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods before burial. It is also intended for hot piping or jackets up to 176°F (80°C) whether above or belowground.

PERMA-PIPE’s SLEEVE-GARD 80 shrink sleeve system consist of a cross-linked polyolefin sleeve providing superior mechanical protection with a specially formulated heat-activated mastic which offers excellent corrosion protection and resistance to water ingress for above and belowground piping systems.
