    POLY-THERM - Pre-insulated piping system fabricated with fiberglass reinforced outer jacket and void-free polyisocyanurate foam insulation.

  • DOUBLE CONTAINMENT SYSTEMS
    PERMA-PIPE’s pre-insulated, prefabricated double containment piping systems are proven to protect the environment and personal safety when transporting hazardous chemicals, jet fuel, process waste, and chemical fluids where the fluid is corrosive.

    Consisting of a carrier pipe, a containment pipe coated with urethane or a fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP) outer jacket and an optional PermAlert® cable leak detection system.

    CORROSION UNDER INSULATION
    A severe type of exterior, localized corrosion that frequently affects insulated steel piping systems is called "corrosion under insulation" (CUI). Moisture, operating temperature and chemical exposure are the most frequent causes of CUI (water, in all its forms, is the biggest cause of corrosion). Through correct system configuration, material specification, installation, and maintenance, these CUI contributors can be managed to prevent it from happening.

    With regard to CUI contributions, PERMA-PIPE offers cutting-edge solutions. Our products can be coated to prevent the piping system from prematurely failing due to corrosion, which would otherwise cause production to stop, cost money in maintenance and repairs, and pose a risk to health and safety.

    GALVA-GARD - Smoothwall, spiral welded, 10-gauge steel conduit, hot dipped galvanized with urethan outer coating. Service pipe(s) and insulation can be selected from any material suitable for the application. Single or multiple steel service pipes insulated with mineral wool or calcium silicate.

    ANTI-CORROSION COATINGS:
    Anti-corrosion coatings function as a protective layer that prevents or delays the development of corrosion on the metal surface beneath the carbon steel pipe. It ensures that priceless natural resources and other items arrive at their destination safely and effectively by avoiding external corrosion with the application of either single or multi-layer anti-corrosion coatings.

    To protect pipeline and piping systems from external corrosion, our anti-corrosion coatings are available in one, two, or three layers. These coatings offer a range of capabilities and complexity, catering to various performance and budget requirements while extending the lifespan of the piping system.

    Our Three-Layer System includes Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Primer, Polymeric Adhesive intermediate layer, and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) outer jacket.

    Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Coating is a cutting-edge solution crafted to deliver unparalleled protection for pipelines in even the most demanding environments. This single-layer coating provides exceptional defense against chemical exposure, soil stress, and environmental wear. Additional features include:
    Abrasion and Moisture Resistance to withstand harsh environments.

    High-Temperature Capabilities, supporting operations up to 302°F (150°C). FBE provides the versatility and reliability to meet your needs, ensuring your pipelines remain secure and protected for years to come.

    Rubberized Asphalt (RA) is a bonded external pipe coating system, expertly formulated for superior protection and long-term durability. This system featured a base layer of rubberized asphalt adhesive, offering exceptional resistance to corrosion, moisture, and soil stress. This robust foundation ensures pipelines remain safeguarded against harsh environmental conditions.

    FAB-COAT - A high-quality, custom coating that is available in either powder or liquid coating application methods to maintain the piping systems’ overall integrity and longevity.
